Email Marketing is one of the highly effective digital marketing strategies used by businesses in order to engage more with their clients via Emails. It can include one-off offers , discounts, deals to retain existing customers and bring in new. This will create a positive image in customers mind about the brand. The Emails are sent to a list of people who have showed interest in your brand or randomly, to the target audience. 

But the question still arise, Does email marketing works?

The answer is Yes! When a business needs to communicate about their brand or sell their products, Email Marketing is the most cost effective way of doing it. According to a source, a restaurant business in Pakistan on an average spent $4 on emails, with a $38-60 dollar return on investment.     

It is true people nowadays not even open up an email, thinking spam or waste of time.  But, when they are willing and ready to make a purchase they firstly look at their emails for offers. For instance, the Email had to be written nicely with the perfect tagline, that gains readers attention, for example BOGO or something like Click now and get 40% off on your purchase. This will persuade the end user to click on the email and might leads towards conversion.

Emails can be sent randomly, but it will be considered as spam by the user. For this you need to have an email list for your business, so you can target them anytime. To create your own email list:

  • You can create a sign-up form on your website for the users willing to purchase your service, Create a news letter subscription form or include a pop-up on your website requesting customer information.
  • Use Social Media, Run ads on your page for example to sell something & set up a lead form and collect users information.
